-Dolph wins holding the tights on a roll up. Fun match which really showed Kavals skill set.

-MATCH: Survivor Series match – Team Misterio vs. Team Del Rio.

-MVP out first, no surprise as he’s in his home town.

-Del Rio puts out Masters with the arm bar.

-Del Rio gets KO’d by the Big Show and is taken out but not eliminated I think.

-Show ko’s Rhodes and he’s out.

-Kofi puts out Reks.

-Kofi taps to Swaggers ankle lock.

-Show and Misterio finish off Swagger and McIntyre for the win. Decent but not great.

-MATCH: WWE Divas title – Natalya vs. Lay Cool (c)

-Natty wins a short and pointless match that should have been on Raw. Very happy for her win but poorly done, especially with the return of Beth Phoenix stealing a lot of the thunder.

-MATCH: World Heavyweight title match – Kane (c) vs. Edge.

-Crowd is beyond dead.

-They pull the double pin finish and Ref declared the match a tie (?). Kane keeps the belt. Bland match. A little brawl afterward.

-MATCH: WWE title – Randy Orton (c) vs. Wade Barrett. John Cena as referee. “free of fired.”

-Crowd is dead for this as well.

-Orton wins after Cena shoves Barrett into an RKO. Match was weak.

-Way to fuck it up Striker.

-They certainly tried to make the Cena firing look legit. A very unique end to the show.

-The PE win a silly garbage fest with a couple of decent table spots.

-Hammer shows he can’t work worth a shut so Saturn drops him on his head.

-Hammer wins after someone dressed as a beer vendor attacks both men and Hammer landed on top. Confusing….

-Raven and DDP brawl in the back and towards the ring.

-MATCH: Sickboy vs. Juventud Guerrera.

-Juvi spiked him on his head with the Juvi driver. Ugly.

-Juvi wins by dq after Horace jumps in. Flock beat on Juvi until Shitberg makes the save and jackhammers Reese.

-Rick Steiner calls out his brother… I think. Who fucking knows what he’s babbling about. Scott comes out on crutches… They tease a reunion until Bryan Adams comes out and attacks Rick and hits an embarassing shoulder breaker. TNA bad.

-MATCH: Brian Adams vs. Konnan.

-Bret Hart comes out (in an Oilers jersey) and attacks Konnan on the floor. Nash comes out and attacks Adams who wins by dq. Jacknife for Adams.

-MATCH: WCW TV title – Booker T (c) vs. Fit Finley.

-I can’t believe Nitro used to be 3 hours at this time.

-Finley pins Booker with a sick looking Tombstone piledriver to win the belt. Decent match, short.

-MATCH: Kevin Nash vs. Lex Luger.

-Macho and Konnan interfere and beat down Luger until Sting and the Giant make the save. Complete shit.

-MATCH: TNA X division title – Robbie E vs. Jay Lethal (c).

-Robbie wins with a neckbreaker (?) after interference from Cookie. Not a bad match but not the stellar X Division opener we’ve come to expect.

-MATCH: Tara vs. Mickie James.

-Mickie is wrestling in chaps… Who’s horrible fucking idea was that?

-Pretty physical brawl throughout the building leads to a double countout or DQ or whatever. Nice to see the Knockouts getting brawling in a way you don’t see women do offer. Again not a fan of a non-finish on ppv but I’m sure it will lead to a stellar blow-off.

-MATCH: TNA Tag Team titles – Team 3D vs. Motor City Machineguns (c).

-Should be interesting to see how they book this…

-Lots of copyright infringement on commentary….

-Guns win with whatever their finish is called. Really solid fun match, everyone worked hard. Taz and Tenay Underaold the finish IMO.

-MATCH: Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam.

-Van Dam wins with the 5 star. Now I love both these guys and I know Tommy got hurt but this was a piece of shit right from the get-go. Slow and plodding, just bad. There was some pretty crazy bumps towards the end but not good.

-MATCH: EV2.0 vs. Fortune.

-Kendrik blows a knee with Doug Williams and is taken away by the trainers. James Storm breaks kayfabe and checks on him as he goes by. Nice to see the camaraderie but maybe no live on ppv.

-AJ pins Sabu with the Styles Clash after a wild fun finish to the match. Sabu is gone from TNA, apparently they “have nothing for him” which is incredible humorous. Hopefully he will turn up somewhere soon, hopefully PWA. Wonder if he needs a manager…..

-Tommy said it all.

-So apparently Popes congregation is a bunch of scary looking black dudes.

-MATCH: Lumberjack match – Abyss vs. The Pope.

-If you’re not going to do the money drop gimmick right, don’t do it at all!!!

-Abyss wins after the congregation turn on Pope (including his brother) bland and kinda shitty. Why do we care about these congregation guys we’ve never seen before and likely never will again?

-MATCH: Jeff Jarett vs. Samoa Joe.

-Ref bump… Security beat up Joe…. Jarrett locks in rear naked choke…. Joe out cold. Uninspired and bland again. Crowd don’t seem to want to pop for much either.

-Oddly placed recap music video….

-MATCH: TNA Title – Matt Morgan vs. Jeff Hardy (c).

-Jeff Hardy looks like he should be dating Orlando Jordan.

-3 Twists of Fate do in Morgan. Some sort of fuck up with the Ref and a pin Morgan had on Hardy, may turn out to be an angle, if not just an embarassing moment on live tv for TNA. Another bland match to finish a mostly bland ppv effort for TNA.

-The confetti was a little much. And Flair gets iced again….

-MATCH: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Daniel Bryan (c).

-Bryan wins via submission, wonderful match. Definitly a WWE MOTY candidate. Some pretty hilarious moments on commentary as well with Striker and King.

-Great vingette with team Raw. Miz is epic. I hate to say I told you so.

-Rhodes and McIntyre come out to cut a promo about having no one to face because they are dominant. A RAW GM email brings out Nexus leader Wade Barrett. He brings out Otunga and John Cena. He says he has ordered Cena to fail in winning the tag belts. Did I hear that right?

-MATCH: WWE tag team titles – Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre (c) vs. David Otunga & John Cena.

-Cena does the bulk of the work and makes Rhodes tap to the STF. Otunga celebrates like he just won the Superbowl and Cena hits him with the FU. Blah.

-MATCH: Ted DiBiase vs. Goldust.

-DiBiase wins with a DDT. Oksana almost has a wardrobe malfunction. Not a bad match but shouldn’t have been on a ppv. ‘Dust still leaves with the belt.

-MATCH: WWE Divas title – Layla (c) vs. Natalya.

-LayCool pre match promo with the Favre dig was pretty funny.

-Layla wins after a boot to the skull of Nattie by McCool. Decent match, crowd was dead.

-MATCH: Buried Alive Match – Kane (c) vs. The Undertaker.

-Fans chanting for blood…. Not in this era.

-I love how the tech guys completely no-sell Kane and ‘Taker fighting around them.

-Kane wins an absolute bore-fest of a match after a run-in from Nexus that I’m sure will be explained at some point in the future. Horrible.

-I wonder how they do that lightening bolt gimmick.

-MATCH: Bragging Rights – Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown.

-Tyler Reks got ZERO pop.

-Santino takes the early dirtnap after Tyler Reks hits a move very similar to the F5.

-Kofi’s out due to Sheamus.

-Swagger out after starship pain.

-Reks gets the big boot from Sheamus and he’s out.

-Sheamus and Show get counted out. Weak.

-Truth is speared and eliminated by Edge.

-Same for Morrison.

-Punk pins Del Rio with a backslide.

-Rey eliminates Punk. I could watch those 2 go all day.

-Rey puts out Jackson, although he slipped off the top top on the splash.

-Edge spears Miz for the pin and the win for Team Smackdown. Really fun match.

-Strikers celebration was both funny and annoying.

-MATCH: WWE title – Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton (c).

-Cena attacks Barrett so he wins by DQ. Normally I hate DQ’a on ppv’s but it made sense from a booking perspective. Weak match, not sure if Barrett’s ready for main event matches.

-Why show the Nexus signs in the crowd?

-MATCH: TNA Tag Titles – Generation Me vs. Motor City Machine Guns.

-Sick double stomp off the top by Shelley.

-Max Buck needs to pull back on his facials. A little much….

-MCMG’s win with the skull and bones. A really fun fast paced spot fest as you would imagine. Reminds me why I love wrestling. They should probably end the show now…

-Nice to see TNA outside the Impact Zone. Gives them a more professional big time feel.

-I think Miss Tessmacher should know her own fucking name. Tessmarker…. Yeesh.

-Dyke on a Bike. Good one Velvet.

-MATCH: TNA Knockouts title – Angelina Love vs. Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne vs. Tara. Special referee Mickie James.

-How does Vince not own the Mickie James name?

-Tara pins Velvet in a weak finish in a match that was better then I figured it would be. Mickie lays out Rayne post match.

-MATCH: Eric Young & Orlando Jordan vs. Ink Inc.

-Ink Inc win, EY had a few good comedy spots but this match didn’t belong on ppv.

-MATCH: TNA X Division title – Douglas Williams vs. Jay Lethal (c)

-Handspring into the German looked good.

-Loved the Williams hurracanrana finish. Kudos to whoever booked that. Lethat retains. Solid match.

-It’s a sad world when this Shore gimmick comes off as a second rate Zack Ryder.

-MATCH: Monsters Ball – Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss.

-Rolling Thunder on the barbed wire looked great.

-RVD wins with the 5 star. A fun little hardcore brawl with some cool crazy-looking spots. Apparently now Abyss is fired…

-MATCH: The Pope, Sting & Kevin Nash vs. Jeff Jarrett & Samoa Joe.

-Jarrett heels out and walks away from Joe who gets jacknifed and pinned. At least it was short.

-Team 3D come out and “retire.” I hate retirement angles because I’d like a real retirement to mean something but this is wrestling and I should know better.

-MATCH: Lethal Lockdown – EV2.0 vs. Fortune.

-Ok I want to love this. Don’t let me down.

-Stevie knows how to do business. Fuck you if you don’t like ‘em.

-Sabu’s rockin’ the chops baby!

-Tenay just said “Get the poison out!” (inside joke.)

-Poor Kazarian had to pay the price because Morgan couldn’t kick the door open. Kudos.

-Kendriks appearance on the top of the cage was unexpected.

-Dreamer hits a DVD off the top on Styles for the win. It was a clusterfuck but in the best way possible. It was a lot of fun. Big ups all around.

-Main event music video was great. Sometimes less is more.

-MATCH: TNA Championship: Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy.

-There is a kid in the crowd with his popcorn bucket on his head. I never understood that but I’m gonna try it sometime.

-There’s Dixie the camera whore.

-The double ankle-lock spot was brilliant. Just when you think there’s nothing new under the sun….

-Ok. With Hogan on crutches hobbling to the ring, Bischoff could have used the chair and been in fucking Mexico by time he got to the ring.

-If Hogan needs 2 guys to help him to the ring, he shouldn’t be there.

-Hardy wins after the big heel turn and the revelation on “they” as he and Jarrett, Abyss, Bischoff and Hogan. It wasn’t horrible but a little weak. And RVD is a shitty actor. But the match was great and the ppv was stellar.

-We are live (sort of) from Chicago….

-MATCH: Dolph Ziggler (C) vs. Kofi Kingston. If Dolph is DQ’d or counted out he loses the strap.

-Braden is fairly knowledgeable about whats going on in WWE… Chip of the ol’ block.

-Chantal says Vickie has less back fat then usual.

-Dolph wins a pretty stellar match with the Zig Zag.

-Jon says Kofi should have won.

-Braden agrees.

-I missed the Paper Jamz ad while I was peeing.

-MATCH: CM Punk vs. Big Show.

-MATCH: No Holds Barred for the World title – Kane (c) vs. The Undertaker.

-Great pre-match hype video but 5 or 6 minutes in and I’m bored to shit.

-Kane wins with a tombstone reversal. Didn’t care even a little….

-MATCH: Tag Team Turmoil for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

-Harts start out with the Uso’s.

-Harts are out due to some shenanigans. Out come Kozlov and Santino.

-Uso’s pin Santino bringing out Bourne and Henry.

-Bourne hits the SSP for the pin, bringing out Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.

-Cody and Drew get the win and the belts. The Harts get a raw deal but I say that as a mark.

-Eliminations were fast and furious off the top but the last 4 got some time to work and it was solid.

-Alberto Del Rio vingette, on a ppv. Great way to get him over. I’m annoyed so I assume the marks are too.

-MATCH: Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Title – Sheamus (c) vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett.

-I fast forwarded ring entrances and apparently missed Jericho get eliminated by an RKO.

-Edge out from an attitude adjustment in a frenzied series.

-I had to giggle at Lawlers krytonite comment.

-Barett eliminates Cena with a little Nexus help….

-Super Orton fights off all of Nexus to eliminate Barrett.

-Orton hits the RKO reversing The Celtc Cross to win the title.

-A few comedy spots mixed with some great solid wrestling.

-Quack rolls up Crazy for the win in a solid match that does the slow build that I love.

-Davey Richards promo.

-DJ Perkins vs. Gran Akuma is next up.

-Akuma with a killer version of the Codebreaker.

-Akuma taps to the figure four deathlock. Decent, nothing blow away.

-Jimmy Jacobs vs Brian Kendrik is next. Kendrik brings out Lacey as his valet. I don’t know the back story unfortunately.

-Spanky wins with Sliced Bread #2. Short, and again nothing spectacular.

-Next up is Davey Richards taking on Masaaki Mochizuki. Apparently for Mochizuki’s FIP title.

-Mochizuki taps to the cross arm breaker. Stifftastic great match. Everything Davey touches turns to gold.

-3 way elimination tag match: Yossino & Doi vs. The Young Bucks (Generation Me) vs. Shingo &Yamato. This should be hot.

-A little comedy mixed in to some stellar workrate.

-Young Bucks go out first, action is fast and furious. It would be difficult to call this match on PBP.

-Doi and Yossino win by submission. Really fun match.

-Main event time for the Open The Freedom Gate Championship. Dragon Kis taking on champ BxB Hulk.

-Nice looking belt.

-BxB wins with a super kick. Really fast paced fun match. After the fact and big brawl erupts spearheaded by Yamato and Davey Richards which clears the locker room.
