-Very interesting opening video.

 

-MATCH: TNA Television Title – Robbie E vs. Eric Young (c).

 

-The velvet rope is a nice touch to Robbie’s entrance.

 

-Lots of comedy and some decent work but a weak interference finish from Rob Terry and Robbie E is the new TV champ. Too bad that belt is beyond meaningless.

 

-MATCH: TNA Tag Team Titles – Ink Inc. vs. Mexican America (c)

 

-Sarita puns Toxxine after a belt shot in a super-sloppy match. Not tight at all.

 

-MATCH: TNA X Division Title – Jesse Sorenson vs. Kid Kash vs. Austin Aries (c)

 

-Aries stole the promo with Kash before the match. Laugh worthy.

 

-Aries rolls up Kash from behind after the 2 work over Sorenson for pretty much the whole match. Somewhat bland.

 

-MATCH: No DQ – Christopher Daniels vs. Rob Van Dam.

 

-Daniels convinces RVD to drop the no DQ stipulation.

 

-RVD wins with the five star after Daniels tries to use the screw driver again. Pretty solid match, I like Daniels heel character.

 

-MATCH: Crimson vs. Matt Morgan.

 

-This would have been a great match… In 1987. Two big guys plodding along with no real flow or pace. Really did nothing for me and the double DQ finish after a ref shove is just gonna set up another PPV match with these 2….

 

-MATCH: Mr. Anderson & Abyss vs. Scott Steiner and Bully Ray.

 

-Another stellar Pre-match Scott Steiner promo. No idea what the fuck he’s talking about.

 

-Funny seeing the crowd get under Steiners skin by cheering him. Most noise the non-canned crowd has made all night.

 

-Abyss hits a BHS on Steiner as he’s arguing with the ref. Match was blah. Scott Steiner needs to go away and take Kevin Nash with him.

 

-Afterwards Abyss no-sells going through a table….

 

-MATCH: TNA Knockouts title – Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky (c)

 

-Madison is laying it on a little thick in terms of her part of this storyline. We get it…. We see what’s coming.

 

-Gail wins after Madison interferes. Horrible match, Velvets not in Kim’s league and it showed. And I don’t agree with taking the belt off Sky already unless they give us a good angle for her to get it back.

 

-MATCH: Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett.

 

-The mask Hardy wore to the ring was ridiculous.

 

-Hardy pins Jarrett in about 3 seconds….. Jarett says he wants to go one more time and Hardy says yes and the match starts again. Silliness. After the 3 count Jarrett popped right up basically no selling the twist of fate.

 

-Hardy pins Jarrett again after a roll up while Jarrett tried to apply the Figure 4. The work was decent but the angle was a little silly.

 

-Afterwards, Jarret hits Hardy with a chair on the ramp and drags him back to the ring…. Hits the stroke and makes Hebner count the 3 but at 2 Hardy rolls up Jarrett again and pins him. Overbooked.

 

-Solid Pre-match promo by Roode.

 

-MATCH: TNA Heavyweight Title – Bobby Roode (c) vs. AJ Styles.

 

-Roode wins with a handful of tights and the infamous TNA roll-up from a reversed Styles Clash. They could have come up with a better heel finish then that. As a match it was fine but with no build up the crowd wasn’t really into it. Quite a weak PPV over all….
