OK, I really want to like this.  As I’ve said, I drank the Kool-Aid in a big way and I enjoy all the nostalgia…. Here we go…

-The opening snapshot vingette was interesting.  About as close as they can come to some vintage moments without getting sued.

-Stephen Deangelis! Where’s Bob Ortiz?

-Can they get sued for an ECdub chant?

-Taz got the crowd fired up.

-Time for match 1… The FBI (Guido, Mamaluke and Tracy fucking Smothers) with Big Sal vs. Kid Kash, Simon and Swinger.

-Kash is looking a little chunky, as am I….

-Maybe when PWA has a reunion show I can ring announce.

-Tracy Smothers looks like he died a year ago, god bless him.

-Tony Luke?  I should prepare for a lot of name changes tonight.  Vince owns the world.

-Love the vintage looking ECW ring.

-Kash is inked up.

-2:30 in the morning and I’m giddy as fuck.

-I like that Tenay was up front and said they can’t use a lot of the names….

-Fuck, Simon chunked up too!

-Simon has a problem…. I feel a dance contest coming on….

-Tracy fucking Smothers is god.

-Quite frankly, if it wasnèt 2:30 in the morning, and if I was sober I would hate that but Im not so fuck it.

-I thought the ring mat was blue but I think it’s just the lighting but good job regardless.

-Kash’s dive was a little contrived but still fun.

-They took the “TNAwrestling.com” off the ringposts as well, which I respect.

-FBI get the win… Taz is doing what he can but this PPV needs Joey.

-Tenay named dropped Joey, I respect that as well.  Well done.

-Where Are They Now…. Todd Gordon, Gary Wolfe, The Blue Meanie.  Bland.  Not needed. I assume Meanie is fat again….

-TNA stars share their ECW memories.  AJ talks about Sandman caning Tommy.  Almost verbatim from the Rise and Fall dvd but still interesting.

-Al talking to Head.  The classics never die.

-Nova! Al Snow fucking rules.

-BW 2.0.  Brilliant.

-Who the fuck was that with the bWo…

-Match #2 is CW Anderson (Friend of BTSC) vs. Too Cold Scorpio.  This should be interesting.  Havenèt seen either of these guys in a while.

-They are calling it The Extreme Zone… I think that is copyright PWA… Sue them Kurt!

-Scorp wins with a 450 leg drop, nothing blow-away but a solid match.

-More TNA stars reminisce about ECW… Madison Rayne, Matt Morgan, Anderson.

-RVD and Fonzie confirm Lynn wonèt be in action and Van Dam will face Sabu. (Boris marks a little…) Fonzie will call it right down the middle daddy!

-Next match will feature Justin… Uhh.. PJ Polaco vs. Stevie Richards. With Nova and The Bluetilly….

-Fans are chanting for blood… Fucking relax, youll get it.

-Stevie wins with the Stevie kick, wanted to love it but it was average.  Post match Justin canes the shit out of Stevie, lights go out and when they return, The Sandman appears and canes Justin. Much to the crowds delight.

-Francine where are they now… With her daughter.  Cool stuff.

-TNA pays respect to those no longer with us… By saying they pay respect to those no longer with us.

-Next match is a three-way-dance.  Spike Brother Runt Dudley vs. Al Snow with Head vs. Rhino.

-Elimination rules.

-Spike gets caught on a cross body to the floor and gets a double fall-away-slam.  Cool spot.

-Double Guerrero chair spot was fun.

-Spike eliminates Snow with the acid drop and Rhino immediatly hits the Gore on Spike for the win.

-Mick reading Hogans book was lame product placement.

-More TNA star memories.  Magnus, Sabin.

-Up next is good ol Kahoneys (Balls Mahoney) and Axl Rotten.  They say the dont have a match.  Open challenge.  Here comes Joel Gertner and the mother fucking Dudley Boys.  Fuck this Team 3D shit…. In the old school tye dye…. Fans are hot.

-Lady Gaga gag was fucking epic!!!

-Gertner gave me that warm fuzzy feeling I was looking for.

-Axls black hair is shocking.

-Thats right Taz, call him Balls Mahoney.  Who gives a fuck!

-The lightsabre fight was fun.  Sure it was silly but who cares at this point!

-Balls and Axl vs. The Dudleys was fun.  Was it a classic?  No, Have they lost a step or 2?  yes but who cares, it was fun.  Balls takes the flaming table spot.

-After the dust settles, here come the fucking Gangstas to some brutal generic music.

-They brawl for a while, Gertner takes the guitar shot and then they all celebrate together….

-The Joey Styles shout out was unexpected.

-Dreamer and Raven up next.

-Raven going up to Beulah on the way to the ring was cool.

-Crowd seems pretty dead for Tommy and Raven.

-Nova looks like he could use some of the Simon System.

-Raven pins Dreamer after a DDT on a chair… A little overbooked with the run-ins but they tried to stay true to the origins.

-I don’t remember Lupus at all…

-I find it hilarious they are using ‘No Interviews’ as a selling point for the big Impact….

-I think that was the singlet RVD wore at ECW’s last PPV.

-Main event time.  RVD vs. a bald Sabu.

-RVD wins with the 5 star.  Really fun match, sure maybe a step or 2 slower then the old days but they brought it.
