Our Vegas time Is done but we had a blast. Lots of time by the pool, I got a little burned but nothing too bad so far. The Lion King was a really great show, I’m glad I got to see it and Blue Man Group was everything I hoped it would be.
It’s hot. Ridiculously hot. We wanted to walk a bit of the strip after dark but it’s still unbearable. It hit 43 today. Inhuman. San Diego is a little more bearable and we are looking forward to it.
We have arrived safe and sound in Las Vegas. Is it too early for a beer?

PWA will be inducting into the Hall Of Fame, the first family of wrestling, the HARTS! With Stampede Wrestling, the Hart family established a legacy in professional wrestling that no other independent company will ever achieve. Stu Hart, the patriarch of the Hart family and the driving force behind Stampede Wrestling was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. PWA was created after being inspired by Stampede Wrestling and has been endorsed by members of the Hart family to continue the tradition of family orientated sports entertainment. This is PWA and the fan’s opportunity to thank the Hart family for their inspiration, trail blazing and over 40 years of contribution to the professional wrestling business.
Joining the Harts in this year’s Hall Of Fame induction will be the only wrestler to hold all 4 PWA titles former PWA Champion, Phoenix Taylor. Phoenix’s contributions in and out of the ring have been a driving force and a big reason for PWA’s current success and longevity.
-Well, Hall lasted longer then I and a lot of others thought.
-Ink Inc move on in the all-of-a-sudden tag title tournament.
-Flair is about to make a “history making announcement….”
-Chelsea loves Abyss and he let her go, what a player!
-Ok so Flair is reforming the horsemen but calling them a different
name. So it’s not really the horsemen at all. Sad.
-Wolfe is the Lex Luger of the group. Ouch.
-Ok can we get Flair and Lethal off my tv because it’s fucking
embarassing. Jumped the shark.
-Joe and Hernandez was good but short.
-Buck and Williams was good but short. Nice to see Kendrick is getting
a bit of a push.
-I wish Lethal and Wolfe wasn’t so overbooked.
-I knew we couldn’t go the whole show without Hogan coming out.
-Stings looking old without the paint.
-That screeching bitch is back. Someone please stab her for me.
-Countout finish to the main event and then Abyss goes nuts. Blah. Oh
but we can’t finish the show without Hogan!!
Please follow up the NXT angle strongly. Please.
-Lawler and company hit the high road. Love it but bummed Danielson
isn’t there.
-Here comes Bret to ruin a great segment. Wait until the music stops
to start talking.
-Well they explained Danielson abscence somewhat…
-Oh god Bret. WWF? Sad.
-Decent opening segement other then Bret.
-The US title 4 way was a lot of fun, great finish with Miz stealing
it from Morrison.
-Interested to see what they are building towards with Jericho.
-The brawl after Cenas promo was interesting. They couldn’t do better
then Regal and Santino? I also expected the guys in the 4 way to go at
it after the ring was cleared.
-I hope that’s the last we see of Virgil.
-Thank you Lawler for explaining why Bret asked the locker room to
come stand on the stage.
-Good last minute way to get buys for the ppv.
Apparently this is episode 1 of season 2. Wade Barret won season 1, I
didn’t blog about the finale because well… I just didn’t. Let’s go
to the video tape…
-Alright let’s get a look at the new rookies. Miz is with Alex Riley.
-John Morrison is paired with Eli Cottonwood. Big dude.
-Cody Rhodes has Husky Harris, Rotundos kid.
-Lay Cool has Low Ki er… Kaval.
-Mark Henry’s got Lucky Cannon.
-Kofi is paired with Michael Mcgilicutty. Hennig’s kid. Gonna hate
typing that name every week.
-MVP has Percy Watson.
-Zack Ryder is with Titus O’Neil.
-Apparently half the evaluation is the pros and the other half the
“WWE Universe.” what a bunch of crap.
-Seaaon 2 only 12 weeks?
-Opening tag match was an abortion. Cottonwood and O’Neil.
-Riley seems like a pretty natural heel.
-They’re doing a stellar job of selling the NXT invasion from Raw.
-The second tag match was a bit more palatable. Watson and Harris.
-Striker seems to be having some issues getting everyone to stop
yapping and move the show along.
-Fuck, the ending promos were painful. But the “initiation” beatdown
was interesting.
-It will be interesting to see how the booking intertwines season 1
and 2 rookies.
-Who the fuck is screeching?
-Angle is over.
-I liked Angle denying the DQ.
-Angle and Kaz was an excellent opener. A lot of talking went on, not
sure why but and excellent outing.
-Whoever is screeching needs to fucking die.
-Williams and Kendrik was excellent as well.
-Madison busted up Roxxi hardway with the mic. Lots of blood.
-Rayne beats Roxxi in a blah match. Roxxi put her career on the line
in the match….
-Ok Brother Ray. Drop the other shoe and get to the point.
-Finally. There we go…
-Bubba is a stiff prick.
-Tommy Dreamer appearance during Bubba and Jesse Neal.
-Hernandez and Morgan was a waste.
-Way to waste Wolfe in a garbage match.
-Way to oversell a mediocre spot Nigel.
-Pretty obvious gig by Abyss.
-Chelsea loves him!! Saw it coming. Violent match.
-Lethal and Styles was good but they totally blew the finish.
-The Assholes and Beer Money was pretty decent. More hardway blood
though I think.
-RVD and Sting was weak but on the whole I was surprised at the show.
It wasn’t bad.
So this is the 3 hour fan request deal… Let’s go to the video tape!
-My god Bret is fucking awful.
-I vote for the sit-up contest!! Good god…
-Who came up with these stipulations??
-Wow, a bodyslam challenge for Show and Jericho. This show is going to
annoy me…. But I’m just another dude who bitches on the Internet
anyway…
-I would have voted for the Dudebusters.
-Someone stole Lawlers crown. Who gives a fuck.
-A dance off? My god this is embarassing.
-Jesus, the divas have the most logical stipulations so far…
-Hmmm. What’s Wade Barrett talking about…
-Thw vingette with DiBiase and Rotundo was another embarassment.
-Miz and Ryder vs. Morrison and Truth was pretty good.
-Orton and Edge was a waste but Orton can’t really do a lot with
injury so it is what it is. I did find it hilarious that the first
thing Edge did when he untied his arm was…. Kick him.
-Wow. The A Team thing with Piper and Dusty etc was so fucking bad…
-The NXT Invasion was BRIALLIANTLY done. All I ever ask for is
compelling television and that segment was one of the best things they
have done in years. I have some concerns such as the fact that with
the Uso’s and the 8 NXT guys the talent pool is going to be a little
muddled but that ending of Raw was tremendous. Too bad the rest of the
show was shit.
